Description
ClickSyncr Form Sync for EmailOctopus connects your forms to EmailOctopus, so every form submission becomes a contact on your EmailOctopus list: automatically, with no code.
Works with your form builder
One plugin, one EmailOctopus connection. ClickSyncr configures each form right inside the builder you already use, and it connects your forms to 20+ other email marketing platforms too.
“EmailOctopus” is a trademark of its respective owner. This plugin is an independent integration and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by EmailOctopus.
Why you’ll love it
- Set up in minutes: paste your EmailOctopus API key and you’re connected. No developers, no code.
- Your lists load automatically: choose which EmailOctopus list new contacts join, right inside the form editor. Each one shows its opt-in mode and contact count so you pick the right one.
- Map any field: send names, phone numbers, and EmailOctopus custom fields straight from your form.
- Built-in opt-in: add a consent checkbox and ClickSyncr subscribes contacts directly when they tick it, or leaves them pending confirmation when they don’t.
- Contact status control: subscribe directly, leave unconfirmed, or defer to your EmailOctopus list’s own double opt-in setting, per form.
- No duplicate contacts: EmailOctopus matches on email address, so an existing contact is updated and a new one is added, every single time.
- A setup for every form: each form can sync to a different EmailOctopus list with its own field mapping, in every supported builder.
- Sync health at a glance: an admin-bar menu shows every form’s EmailOctopus sync counts and the last error, if any.
- Number fields stay numbers: values mapped to an EmailOctopus number field are sent as numbers, so your segments and filters keep working.
- Lightweight and fast: built to WordPress standards, so it never slows your site down.
- You stay in control: you decide exactly what data is sent to EmailOctopus, and to which list.

FAQ
-
Do I need an EmailOctopus account?
-
Yes. You’ll need an active EmailOctopus account and an API key to sync your contacts.
-
Which form builders are supported?
-
Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, and Forminator. At least one of them must be installed and activated.
-
Where do I find my EmailOctopus API key?
-
Log in to EmailOctopus and open Developer > API keys in your dashboard, then create a new key. Each builder setup guide shows exactly where to paste it.
-
Can I map custom fields?
-
Yes. Map any form field to your list’s EmailOctopus custom fields. Fields belong to a list, so the mapping list follows the list you choose.
-
How does the opt-in consent field work?
-
Pick a consent field (a checkbox, acceptance, or radio) from your form. When a visitor ticks it, the contact is subscribed directly; if they leave it unticked, the contact stays unconfirmed and EmailOctopus can send them a confirmation email instead. Leave it as “None” to use the contact status you chose for the form.
-
Does it work with EmailOctopus double opt-in?
-
Yes. Choose “Use list setting” as the contact status and your list’s own double opt-in setting decides. The Active and Unconfirmed choices override it per form.
-
Will it create duplicate contacts?
-
No. EmailOctopus matches on email address: an existing contact is updated with the fields you mapped, and a new one is added.
-
Can I use different settings for different forms?
-
Yes. Every form has its own ClickSyncr EmailOctopus setup, so each can sync to a different list.
-
ClickSyncr Form Sync for EmailOctopus Privacy

The plugin sends only the fields you map, and only to EmailOctopus. Nothing is collected by ClickSyncr itself. Read about our policy.
