## Description

BlogDog Connector is a WordPress plugin that seamlessly connects your WordPress 
site to BlogDog, allowing you to automatically sync and publish articles from BlogDog
to your WordPress site.

#### How It Works

 1. Configure your Blog on BlogDog.app
 2. Write your selected domain in Settings > BlogDog
 3. Test the connection to ensure everything is working
 4. Use “Sync Now” to manually import articles or enable automatic syncing
 5. Articles are imported as WordPress posts with all metadata preserved
 6. SEO tags are automatically added to the head of each synced post

## Installation

#### Automatic Installation

 1. Upload the `blogdog-connector` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
 3. Navigate to Settings > BlogDog to configure your API connection

#### Manual Installation

 1. Download the plugin zip file
 2. Extract the `blogdog-connector` folder to your computer
 3. Upload the `blogdog-connector` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
 4. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
 5. Navigate to Settings > BlogDog to configure your API connection

#### Configuration

 1. Go to Settings > BlogDog in your WordPress admin
 2. Enter your BlogDog API Base URL
 3. Enter your BlogDog API Key
 4. Click “Test Connection” to verify your credentials
 5. Optionally configure:
 6.  * Default author for imported posts
     * Default category for imported posts
     * Automatic sync schedule
 7. Click “Sync Now” to import articles or enable automatic syncing

## FAQ

### Will syncing create duplicate posts?

No. The plugin tracks BlogDog article IDs and will update existing posts instead
of creating duplicates.

### Can I customize how posts are imported?

Yes. You can set a default author and category for imported posts in the settings
page.

### Does the plugin support automatic syncing?

Yes. You can enable automatic syncing which uses WP-Cron to sync articles on a schedule.

### Can I sync manually?

Yes. You can use the “Sync Now” button in the settings page to manually trigger 
a sync at any time.
