When you pay for the monthly link service, you see a noticeable improvement in your backlink profile and rankings. The links grow on Ahrefs, and your website’s Ahrefs score starts to improve, which is encouraging. However, the moment you stop paying for the monthly subscription, things start to go downhill. The links that were added during your subscription begin to disappear, and your Ahrefs score drops significantly. This is very frustrating because it makes it clear that the links are not permanent and are only active as long as you continue paying. Essentially, the links seem to be rented rather than earned. I understand that ongoing link-building can require investment, but this model feels a bit misleading. It’s disappointing to see your hard-earned progress vanish as soon as you stop paying.
