It is built for auto repair, RV, marine, detailing, and other specialty shops that book predictable, repeatable service types. ShopSlot Free provides reliable instant booking with unlimited services. Configure services, weekly availability, lead times, booking horizons, blackout dates, buffers, customer details, and appointment status history from WordPress. #### What you get in ShopSlot Free * Unlimited services for predictable appointment types * Weekly availability, lead times, and booking horizons * Blackout dates and extra-hours overrides * Service buffers and conflict checks before a slot is confirmed * Appointment review with status history * A customer booking form placed with the `[shopslot_booking]` shortcode #### ShopSlot Pro (optional, sold separately) The separate ShopSlot Pro add-on adds request-and-approve workflows for complex jobs, maintained vehicle suggestions, service-specific staff routing, reusable notification templates, and optional customer notifications after staff edits. ShopSlot Free works without it. #### Switching from another booking plugin The read-only Migration Center can identify familiar scheduling-plugin installations and produce sanitized inventory evidence without changing source data or exposing customer values. This release has no self-service import button. Upload the `shopslot` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the ZIP from** Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin**. 2. Activate ShopSlot. 3. Add services and configure availability under **ShopSlot** in the WordPress administrator. 4. Place the `[shopslot_booking]` shortcode on the page where customers should book. Back up the site before replacing another scheduling system. The Migration Center in this release is read-only and does not modify another plugin’s records. ## FAQ ### Is ShopSlot Free usable on its own? Yes. ShopSlot Free includes instant booking with unlimited services, availability rules, buffers, blackout dates, and appointment status history. Pro is optional. ### What does ShopSlot Pro add? Request-and-approve booking for complex jobs, maintained vehicle suggestions, service- specific staff routing, reusable notification templates, and optional customer notifications after staff edits. Pro is a separate add-on, licensed for one active site per year. ### How do customers book? Add the `[shopslot_booking]` shortcode to any page. No. ShopSlot is for scheduling.
