Description

This plugin provides a Remote Storage option for Google Drive inside the XCloner Backup and Restore plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/.

Google Drive now offers 15GB of free disk space which can be used to store backups.

Requires PHP 5.5 with mod_CURL installed

Installation

  1. Install the XCloner Backup and Restore plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/
  2. Install the XCloner Google Drive Plugin from the WordPress Directory
  3. Activate the plugin
  4. Visit Site Backup->Remote Storage area and look for Google Drive area.

the version here does not work anymore with google drive. there are auth errors with all possible auth options

Outdated tutorial

Can not use this plugin, Because of the outdated tutorial. Made me and others to waste time and have Zero results.

Works fine, could do with an update though and a few issues to fix

This work really well, but given the last update was a year ago, it would be nice to know if this is still being worked on. The "No Reason Phrase" error is rather annoying, and it would be nice to have a progress bar, but it generally works fine even though it reports errors.
