Bina – No Code Form Builder for Contact Form 7

Description

Bina turns Contact Form 7 into a modern, visual form builder — without asking you to switch plugins or rebuild a thing.

Import any existing CF7 form with one click, edit it visually with drag and drop, and push it back live. No shortcode syntax. No markup editing. No migration project.

And unlike plain Contact Form 7, Bina saves every submission right in your WordPress dashboard — searchable, markable as read, and exportable to CSV. No more relying on email alone, no more lost leads.

Your forms stay 100% Contact Form 7. Bina generates clean CF7 markup, so everything that already works with CF7 — your mail settings, your integrations, your CF7 add-ons — keeps working. Contact Form 7 keeps doing what it does best; Bina gives it the visual editor it was never going to get on its own.

Why Bina

  • No migration, no lock-in. CF7 still handles submission, validation, and mail. Deactivate Bina any time and your forms keep working as normal Contact Form 7 forms.
  • Safe by design. Imports come in as a draft. Your live form only changes when you push — with a preview first and a one-click, 24-hour rollback.
  • Never lose a lead again. Every submission is stored in your own database, not just emailed into the void.
  • Private and yours. Zero external calls, no tracking, no account required.
  • Light on your site. Under 15KB on the front end, loaded only on the forms Bina manages.

Features

  • One-click import — bring any existing Contact Form 7 form into the visual builder. Nothing is changed until you push.
  • Drag-and-drop builder — rows and columns with adjustable widths, hover toolbar (move, duplicate, delete), keyboard shortcuts, undo/redo.
  • Entries saved in your dashboard — Contact Form 7 doesn’t store submissions; Bina does. Every submission is saved automatically with read/unread states, search, and one-click CSV export. No more lost mail.
  • All CF7 field types — text, email, textarea, dropdown, checkboxes, radio, file upload, date, number, URL, tel, hidden, acceptance, quiz. Third-party CF7 tags are preserved and kept working.
  • Every CF7 option preserved — min/max, placeholder, autocomplete, readonly, akismet, custom classes and ids — imported forms round-trip without losing a single option.
  • Safe by design — edits are saved as a draft; the live form only changes when you push. Conflict detection warns you if someone edited the form in CF7 admin meanwhile. One-click rollback for 24 hours after every push.
  • Autosave and draft recovery — your work is autosaved while editing and recovered after a crash or accidental tab close.
  • Live front-end preview — see the form exactly as visitors will, before pushing anything live.
  • Clean, themeable styling — a lightweight, low-specificity skin applied only to Bina-managed forms. Existing CF7 forms are never restyled. Disable entirely with one filter.
  • Code view — inspect the generated CF7 markup at any time.

Who is Bina for

  • Agencies and freelancers maintaining Contact Form 7 across many client sites — stop hand-editing shortcodes and rebuild forms in minutes.
  • Site owners who trust CF7’s reliability but want a modern, no-code editor and a place to read submissions.
  • Anyone who has ever missed an enquiry because a form only sent an email.

Getting started

  1. Make sure Contact Form 7 (free) is installed and active — Bina builds on top of it.
  2. Install Bina from Plugins Add New (search for “Bina”), or upload the plugin ZIP, then activate it.
  3. Open the new Bina menu, find any Contact Form 7 form, and click Migrate to Bina — or create a new form from scratch.
  4. Edit it visually, preview, and press Push to Live. Your live form never changes until you push, and every push can be rolled back within 24 hours.

How Bina treats your existing forms

Bina regenerates your form markup when you push a form live. Your fields, names, options, and mail settings are preserved, but the surrounding HTML is rebuilt in Bina’s clean layout structure. Always use the built-in preview before pushing, and remember every push can be rolled back within 24 hours.

Requirements

  • Contact Form 7 (free) must be installed and active.

FAQ

Is Bina free?

Yes. The current version of Bina is completely free and includes the full visual builder, one-click Contact Form 7 import, entry storage with CSV export, front-end preview, and styling. Bina will always keep a capable free version.

Does Bina replace Contact Form 7?

No. Bina is a builder UI on top of Contact Form 7. CF7 keeps handling submission, validation, and mail. If you deactivate Bina, your forms keep working as normal CF7 forms.

Will importing a form break it?

Importing never touches your live form — it only creates a draft. Your live form changes only when you press “Push to Live”. Bina regenerates the form markup at that point: fields and options are preserved, but custom HTML wrappers are rebuilt into Bina’s layout. Preview first, and use the 24-hour rollback if anything looks wrong.

Does Bina work with my theme and page builder?

Yes. Because Bina outputs standard Contact Form 7 markup, your forms work anywhere CF7 works — classic shortcodes, the block editor, and page builders such as Elementor and Divi. Bina’s optional styling is lightweight and only applied to forms you manage.

Does Bina support third-party CF7 field tags?

Yes. Unknown tags (from CF7 add-ons) are imported, kept intact, and re-emitted exactly on push. You can edit their name, label, required flag, and raw options in the builder.

Will Bina restyle my existing forms?

No. Bina’s front-end styling is scoped strictly to forms managed by Bina. Untouched CF7 forms keep their current look. You can also disable Bina’s styles completely with the bina_load_form_styles filter.

What happens to my mail settings?

They are preserved. Bina round-trips CF7’s mail, mail (2), and messages settings on import and push. Editing them still happens in the familiar CF7 admin tabs.

What data does Bina send externally?

Nothing. Bina makes no external HTTP calls, has no tracking, and requires no account.

Where are entries stored, and is it GDPR-friendly?

Entries are stored in your own WordPress database, nowhere else. Bina integrates with WordPress’s built-in privacy tools: personal data in entries is included in Tools Export Personal Data and Tools Erase Personal Data requests. You can also disable entry storage for any form with the bina_store_entry filter.
