PixCompress compresses JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF files in the WordPress media library while keeping the same filenames, URLs, and dimensions. Themes, page builders, and existing posts keep working.

All local features work after you activate the plugin. No license key, account, or payment is required to compress images, run Compress library, restore backups, or auto-optimize new uploads.

Why it is safe

Public URLs never change
Dimensions stay the same unless you turn on optional resizing
Animated GIFs and animated WebP are skipped
If compression does not shrink the file, or the result is invalid, the original is kept
Originals are backed up privately so any image can be restored
WebP copies are extra files unless you enable replacement

External services

PixCompress compresses images on your own server with GD or Imagick. That does not require an account.

If you open PixCompress License, the plugin may request the public plan list from the author website https://www.itsolutionspot.com/ . That request sends only a plugin user-agent. No site content or images are uploaded.

If you paste a license key and click Activate, the plugin sends that key and your site URL to https://www.itsolutionspot.com/ so the author can record the optional commercial license. This is optional and does not enable or disable local optimization.

Installation

Upload the pixcompress folder to /wp-content/plugins/ or install the zip from Plugins Add New Upload Plugin
Activate PixCompress
Open PixCompress Dashboard
Click Compress library

A license key is not required.

FAQ

Will images look worse?: The default preset is visually lossless (quality 88). PNG compression is lossless. If a file cannot be made smaller without risk, PixCompress keeps the original.
Will this break my website?: No. Filenames and URLs stay the same. Layouts that depend on image size stay intact because dimensions are not changed by default.
Can I undo?: Yes. Every optimized file can be restored from a private backup, one image at a time or all at once.
Do I need a license key?: No. Local compression works after you activate the plugin. A key is only if you bought an optional paid support plan on the author website.
What data is sent off-site?: Nothing, unless you open the License screen (public plan list) or click Activate with a key (key + site URL). Images are never uploaded to the author.
